What the cookery courses include:

  • Tuition Monday morning to Friday afternoon
  • Tuition and examination for the Level 1 Award in Food Safety in Catering
  • A comprehensive course file with recipes, notes, conversion tables, and glossary of cookery terms
  • Informal wine tastings
  • All meals and accommodation for the duration of the course

Are there any extras?

Single room supplement £50 per week, subject to availability.

The only additional expenses are travel to and from Penny’s Mill and any telephone calls made while you are here.

I don’t expect anyone to buy expensive uniform or equipment such as knives before they come on the course. All I ask is that students bring comfortable working clothes, their enthusiasm and a healthy appetite.
